We provide you with the opportunity to learn the basics of the TapRooT® System to find the root causes of problems!

Overview

In just two days you will learn the basics of the TapRooT® System for finding the root causes of incidents, accidents, quality problems, near-misses, operational errors, hospital sentinel events and other types of problems. Once you find the real root causes using this systematic process, you will learn to develop effective fixes that will keep problems from happening again.  You can check your corrective action effectiveness using the SMARTER checklist technique.

Who Should Attend?

This is a foundation course suitable for Team Leaders, Supervisors, Managers, Safety Professionals and people responsible to find and fix the root causes of incidents, accidents, quality problems, near-misses, operational errors, hospital sentinel events and other types of problems. Employees that may be asked to contribute in an investigation will provide more effective input.

Learn to find and fix problems proactively BEFORE an accident or incident occurs and to analyse the Safeguards that keep problems from happening or from getting worse once a single Safeguard fails. Also learn what to include in effective presentations to management when presenting results of a Root Cause Analysis
